Originally from Morocco, born in l’Oise Laela Mouhamou starts her experience in Paris and obtains her diplomas with an additional module in pastry.
Her career begins in Parisian bistros. In 2003, Laela decides to do a season on the French Riviera and the determinant meeting with the Chef Arnaud Carré, makes her settle down in Mougins Village.
A way then opens up, that she has been improving since then: the art of Mediterranean cooking.
Laela develops her skills and works up her way, acknowledged for her gustative and visual creativity. She then becomes one of the rare women chefs of the region, at the age of 26 only.
She seizes the opportunity to take over La Méditerranée, by combining her love for Parisian bistros and elaborated cooking technics, learnt next to her peers.
Her tasty and refined cooking, stands out by a constant progression that surprises amateurs as well as fine gourmets.
Laela embraces without contest a “Bistrot Chic” style, her veritable signature.
